Train operating company First TransPennine Express (FTPE) is to hold a 'Meet the Manager' session at Huddersfield Railway Station.
The event, which will be held on Monday June 27th, will give local passengers the chance to offer any feedback regarding their train service.
Customers and interested parties are invited to come along and meet Station Manager, Cheryl Exley, who is responsible for the operation of the station and the service provided to customers by FTPE at Huddersfield.
A number of senior representatives from FTPE will be on hand to answer any questions between 08:00 and 09:30 hrs. Customers will be able to discuss all elements of the train service they receive from FTPE, including station facilities, punctuality and reliability of services and the overall experience whilst on board an FTPE train.
Cheryl Exley, FTPE Station Manager for Huddersfield, said "This is a great opportunity for our customers to come in and let us know how we're doing.
"We are committed to improving the services available for passengers and think they will appreciate the chance to meet and discuss their experiences while travelling with FTPE."
Huddersfield station has recently benefited from new customer lifts installed, the subway has been cleaned, painted and revitalised with new lighting and a customer service help point has been installed in the booking hall.
Improvements at the station are continuing and in the future customers will soon be able to take advantage of a bigger brighter booking hall, remodelled waiting area and brand new toilets and facilities. Funding for the station development has in part come from West Yorkshire Public Transport Executive and Kirklees Council who have jointly contributed over £160,000.
