A local train company is reducing the cost of nearly 1.5million tickets as it launches its autumn online sale.
First TransPennine Express (FTPE) already offers savings of up to 50% on train travel and for one week only a further 25% can be saved.
From Monday 10th October to Sunday 16th October customers can book their tickets via www.tpexpress.co.uk/sale.
These special offers are available across the FTPE network and are valid for travel from Tuesday 11th October through to Sunday 18th December 2011.
The discounted tickets are also available on FTPE's Connections ticket which enables passengers to use one ticket to travel with FTPE and connect onto other rail operators' services across the North of England and into Scotland.
With the recent downgrading of the U.K.'s economic growth, FTPE's online sale represents great value with passengers able to take advantage of travel opportunities to fantastic locations across the north of England and into Scotland.
