First TransPennine Express is awarded Silver status for their IIP accreditation
First TransPennine Express (FTPE) is getting into the spirit of the Winter Olympics by winning it's very own silver! The train operator has been recognised for the continuous commitment they make developing their staff, with the esteemed Silver Level, Investors In People (IIP) Accreditation.
This level of IIP accreditation is awarded to organisations that strive to do the best for their staff whilst demonstrating best practice in people management and development, creating strategies that empower people at every level of their organisation. The standard accreditation requires meeting 39 criterion, as set by IIP, to gain Bronze and Silver status the business must meet a further 26 and 76 requirements respectively, a feat that only 3% of the 25,000+ businesses in the UK have achieved.
