West Park
Go arty in the heart of Darlington with West Park's collection
of modern sculpture. It's set within an urban nature reserve, so

Peasholm Park
Fancy a change? Sideline the attractions of the beach and visit
Scarborough's oriental-themed park instead. Head for the island at

Truly a park with a difference. Situated in the shadow of
Glasgow Cathedral in the city centre, the Necropolis is a fine
example of a Victorian garden cemetery. Take a fascinating walk

This traditional 200-acre park in the south of Liverpool boasts
a boating lake and the Palm House (above), a Victorian glasshouse
