Overview

Why take the train to Brough?

The delightful small town of Brough is set on the banks of the River Humber, just 10 miles west of Hull. Brough is probably best known for its most famous resident - the legendary highwayman Dick Turpin.

Take a train to Brough today and you can still pay a visit to the Ferry Inn, which, according to local lore was the only registered home of Turpin - and also the place where he was finally arrested for his many crimes.

And there are plenty of other pursuits to enjoy in Brough... Stroll along the water's edge in the Brough Haven area, wander through the town's charming streets, and then take a break in one of the local cafes or restaurants - all within easy walking distance of the station.
