Out and About
Cleethorpes Festival Of Flight
9th & 10th June 2012
The Free Festival of Flight
2012 promises to be a great celebration of
all things aviation. Cleethorpes is the perfect location
and backdrop to an aircraft display of both vintage and fast jet
aircraft.
Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway
Re-live the age of the steam at the award winning Cleethorpes
Light Railway. There are even special events all year round and
home to the smallest pub in the world, 'The Signal Box
Inn'
The Jungle
Feed your inner wildlife explorer in the tropical rainforest of
spiders, snakes and lizards. Talk to the parrots and look out for
Molly the tortoise; she's over a hundred years old!
Beaches
Take a stroll along the beaches at Cleethorpes, fill your lungs
with the sea breeze, build a sandcastle, have a picnic, sniff the
flowers in the Victorian gardens and fall asleep in the sand
dunes.
The Boating Lake
Is where you'll exhaust the kids feeding ducks and chasing
geese. Not to mention the mock pirates galleon in the
sandpit...
Ross Castle
Is not really a castle at all. But it does have fantastic
panoramic views so you can stop and watch the ebb and flow of the
River Humber.
