Overview
Hull is a proud seaport with a tough, weather beaten attitude to
life. That is of course part of the charm of the place, but it's
not all salty air and sea dogs telling their impressive tales from
the waves. There's also the prosperous Victorian town centre and
hub of really good museums and galleries to get your teeth
into.
The Deep
Contains 40 sharks, 3,500 fish, 2.5 million litres of water and
87 tonnes of salt, which means there is plenty to scare, wonder and
delight at in this marvellous Hull aquarium of all things watery.

Ferens Art Gallery
Houses an eclectic collection of art from the Medieval period to
the present day and plenty of heavy weight names, from Frans Hals
to Stanley Spencer and David Hockney.
Holy Trinity Church
A 15th Century church in Hull that's home to the beautiful
marble font that the pioneering William Wilberforce was baptised
in. Not to mention the huge windows and rare organ!
The Museum Quarter
A cluster of museums in the heart of Hull 'Old Town' to keep you
occupied for hours. Whale skeletons, re-created 1930s streets, the
Arctic Circle and a history of slavery to name but a few
offerings.
TransPennine Express provide Trains to Manchester, Hull and
other destinations throughout the North West.
