Culture Vultures
The Royal Liver Building
If you thought ‘the Liver Birds' was a 70's sitcom, then think again. Best seen from the famous Mersey Ferry, the nesting Liver Birds grace the top of Liverpool's most iconic building.
Cunard Building
The last of Liverpool's ‘Three Graces', built defiantly as World War 1 raged overseas, and a towering testament to the city's glorious spirit.
Liverpool Cathedral
If you can step inside this magnificent place of worship without saying ‘Wow!' then you need to have your soul checked out. Absolutely awesome. Do not miss it!
Liverpool Town Hall
If you want to pay a visit to the Lord Mayor then perhaps you'll catch him here at home. Or just pop in anyway to marvel at the stunningly beautiful interior.
The Walker Art Gallery
Absolutely world class. With everything from medieval masterpieces to highly contemporary sensory art experiences, even a philistine will be glad to have paid a visit on their trip to Liverpool.
Tate Liverpool
Shame on you if you love modern art and don't go and see this fabulous younger brother to London's prestigious Tate Gallery. (And the Liverpool Albert Dock location is pretty spectacular too.)
