Out and About
The Cavern Club
Hurtled into the limelight when it played regular host to the
Fab Four, and lovingly reconstructed in 1984 with its original
bricks, this is a Liverpool Mecca for all Beatles fans and lovers
of live music. www.cavernclub.org
Liverpool Albert Dock
Terribly trendy and fabulously chic, there's a good reason why
this is Liverpool's number one visitor attraction. If you only go
to one spot, this should be it.
The Yellow Duck Marine
We're not sure if we can put it any better than they do at
www.yellowduckmarine.co.uk but it's an hour round Liverpool you'll
never forget on a WWII landing machine!
The Beatles Story
Located within Liverpool's historic Albert Dock, the Beatles
Story is a unique visitor attraction that will transport you on an
exciting and atmospheric journey into the life, times, culture and
music of the Beatles.
See how four young lads from Liverpool were propelled to the dizzy
heights of worldwide fame and fortune to become the greatest band
of all time. Hear the story unfold through the "Living History"
audio guide narrated by John Lennon's sister, Julia and view some
amazing and rare Beatles artefacts along the way.
Visitors can enter our new expansion areas including our 'Going
Solo' room which investigates the solo careers of John, Paul,
George and Ringo, check out our interactive Discovery Zone, relax
in our Beatles themed Starbucks Coffeehouse or buy Beatles
souvenirs in our award winning Fab4Store.
If that wasn't enough the Beatles Story is now on two
sites....
Once you have experienced the magic of the Beatles at the Albert
Dock, head over to our second home, Beatles Story Pier Head in the
Mersey Ferry Terminal.
There you'll find our spectacular world class special exhibitions,
along with our amazing Fab4D Experience, which will take you on a
magical journey through the music of the Beatles.
Spaceport
Realise your dream of being an astronaut (and don't pretend you
didn't!) at Liverpool's amazing and incredible space travel
experience. Take the kids and try to remember that you're a
grown-up!
Mersey Ferry
If you start humming the Gerry and the Pacemakers classic at the
mere mention of the Mersey Ferry then you must go on it to get it
out of your system!
