Why take the train to Morecambe?
Whether you're planning to stay overnight or are just there for a summertime day trip, a visit to the popular seaside resort of Morecambe's not complete without taking in the incredible art deco Midland Hotel. Reopened in 2008, this wonderful building has been lovingly resorted by Urban Splash, and is the ideal place to settle down for a scrumptious afternoon tea as you overlook the bay.
You can enjoy all the traditional fun and thrills you'd expect from a day at the great British beach when you take a train to Morecambe… Tire the kids out at the amusement arcades, sample the famous Potted Shrimp and then be sure to pose for a photo by the Eric Morecambe statue on the promenade before heading home.
