  • Blackpool International Airport

    Blackpool International Airport is located approximately one mile from Blackpool town centre. The airport provides on average 130 scheduled flights a week and carries 500,000 people every year to over 20 destinations.

    How? Trains to Blackpool - First TransPennine Express runs an hourly trains service to and from Blackpool North station where you can then catch the number 11 bus to the airport.

    Where? The number 11 bus operates from stand T2 on Talbot Road, opposite Blackpool North train station.

    When? The number 11 bus service runs direct to the airport every 8 minutes during the day Monday to Saturday and every 15 minutes during evenings and Sunday.

    How Much? £1.60 adult single. Child 80p.

  • Durham Tees Airport

    Durham Tees Valley Airport is situated six miles east of Darlington and handles approximately one million passengers a year.

    Connecting

    How?  First TransPennine Express runs hourly train services to and from Darlington Station where you can connect with the Tees Valley Sky Express (737) bus service to Durham Tees Valley Airport.

    Where? A waiting area is situated towards the front of Darlington Train Station.

    When?  The Sky Express bus service runs hourly from 0700 to 2200.

    How much? Ask for a combined 'Durham Tees Valley Airport BusLink' ticket which includes your train travel and bus journey to the Airport. The bus journey is free of charge - simply show your airline ticket when you board the bus.

  • Edinburgh International Airport

    Edinburgh airport is Scotland's capital airport serving over 100 destinations and approximately 9 million passengers a year.

    Connecting

    How? Trains to Edinburgh - First TransPennine Express runs train services to and from Edinburgh Waverley Station where you can catch the Airlink 100 express bus to the airport. 

    Where? Catch the Airlink 100 bus from Waverley Bridge, right outside the train station.

    When? The bus runs every 10 minutes from 0420 until 2345 with a journey time of 25 minutes.  

    How much? Ask for an Edinburgh Airport train ticket which will include the bus link to the airport. Add on fare £3 single £4.50 return.

    How? First TransPennine Express runs train services to and from Glasgow Central Station where you can connect to the Glasgow Flyer (500) bus to the airport.

    Where? The Glasgow Flyer bus operates from Waterloo Street a short walk from Glasgow Central Train Station. 

    When? The Glasgow Flyer operates a frequent service 24 hours a day 7 days a week and takes approx 20 minutes. 

    How much? Ask for a Glasgow Air Bus ticket which will include the Glasgow Flyer bus connection. Add on to your train fare: £3.00 single £4.50 return.

    When? The Humber Flyer X1 runs hourly from Hull Paragon train station and takes 35 minutes.

    How Much? The Humber Flyer X1 from Hull costs £4.00 single and £5.50 return.

  • Leeds Bradford International Airport

    Located nine miles northwest of Leeds, Leeds Bradford Airport handles over 2.5 million passengers a year.

    How? Trains to Leeds - First TransPennine Express runs regular train services to and from Leeds Station where you can catch the AirportDirect 757 bus service to Leeds Bradford International Airport.

    Where? Catch the bus at the train station interchange. Passengers are advised to allow 20 minutes to transfer from your train to the bus.

    When? The bus runs every 30 minutes between peak hours of 0800 and 1800 Monday to Saturday, while an hourly service runs during off-peak hours and all day Sunday. The AirportDirect 757 service takes you directly to the Airport in 35 minutes.

    Located seven miles south east of Liverpool city centre, Liverpool John Lennon Airport is one of the UK's fastest growing Airports.

    How? Trains to Liverpool - First TransPennine Express runs hourly train services to and from Liverpool Lime Street Station where you can catch the Airlink 501 bus service to Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

    Where? Follow the 'Airport Bus' signs within Liverpool South Parkway Station and catch the bus directly outside the station.

    When? The Airlink 501 bus service runs from 0620 until 1851 every 20 minutes, Monday to Saturday daytimes, getting you to the airport terminal in approximately 10 minutes. Outside these times, use bus services 80A or 86A.

    How much? Ask for a combined 'Liverpool South Parkway PlusBus' ticket which includes your train travel and bus journey to the Airport. Add on to your train fare: £3.00 single, £6.00 return. For Railcard holders, the add-on is £2.00 each way.

  • Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield

    Situated seven miles from Doncaster, Robin Hood Airport is Britain's newest international Airport.

    Where? Catch the bus inside the Doncaster Frenchgate, adjacent to Doncaster Rail Station.

    When? Service 91 runs every half-hour Monday to Saturday daytime and hourly evenings and Sundays, getting you to the airport terminal in approximately 25 minutes.
