The Merchant Adventurer's Hall

York Art Gallery

The grand 19th Century building provides a comfy home for masterpieces that span 600 years. From 14th Century Italian Panels to the likes of LS Lowry and David Hockney. A great place for culture on your visit to York.

Treasurer's House

Once the home of the minster's medieval treasurers, this pretty 17th Century house is now rife with ghost stories - don't go down to the cellar alone.

Roman Bath Museum

An underground museum in York where you can marvel at the remains of Roman baths and artefacts and then pop upstairs for a pint in the Roman Bath Public House.

York Brewery

The daily guided tour includes generous beer sampling. We recommend a good hearty breakfast before you embark on this particular outing!
