Season Tickets
If you travel regularly along the same rail route, buying
a Season Ticket makes a lot of
sense in terms of saving time and money.
Season Tickets are valid for train travel on any day within the
validity of the ticket. They are available for seven days, one
calendar month, and any period between one and twelve months. A
Season Ticket offers significant savings over buying the Anytime Day
Return each day, and avoids having to queue repeatedly for
your train ticket.
Customers holding a valid one month or longer Season Ticket may
make their normal daily journey in First Class at weekends at no
extra cost on First TransPennine Express services. Passenger
Transport Executive (PTE) season tickets, for example, MetroCards,
do not qualify for the weekend first class upgrade.
Reasons to Buy
- They save you money - when you buy a 12 month Season Ticket you
only pay for 40 weeks
- They still save you money if you travel only 4 days a week
- They are valid for weekdays and weekends, so can be used for
leisure travel at the weekend and are automatically upgraded to
First Class at weekends
- They help you avoid ticket office queues
