Huddersfield Food and Drink Festival returns from Thursday 4th to Sunday 7th August 2016, promising to serve up a real summer treat for your taste buds!
The seriously delicious event will bring together over 90 of the region’s best food and drink businesses to celebrate local cuisine and showcase upcoming talent, with new traders like Bourbon Brothers, The Mussel Pot and Little Chilli.
Entry to the festival is completely free and whilst there you can enjoy activities including:
Cooking demos from Jamie’s Ministry of Food
Live entertainment from the Ministry of Chocolate
Best of British sweets from Sweets of Yesteryear
Hudds Food Fest takes place on the doorstep of Huddersfield Train Station and as managers of the station (not to mention huge fans of local grub!) we’re delighted to be sponsoring the festival this year.
You can also catch a climpse of two of the finalists involved in our Where Next Project, as they undertake a very special challenge from their mentor Shaun Keaveny. Look out for Steph Chungu and Jack Gillan as they practice their broadcasting skills interviewing different stall owners at the festival.
Are you tempted to give the festival a try? Book train tickets to Huddersfield here and share your #foodie finds with us over Facebook, Twitter and Instagram #HFDF16
