£15,000 raised for Mission Christmas Appeal

Tuesday 22nd December 2015
We've helped to put a smile on thousands of vulnerable and underprivileged children this Christmas by supporting radio station Key 103’s ‘Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas Appeal.

In total we've raised more than £15,000 to help buy presents for children who might not receive any this Christmas.

Carol singing on train
The FTPE choir helped to raise money for the appeal by singing at our stations and on our trains

It is estimated that one in three children living in towns and cities across the FTPE network live in poverty, but this appeal aims to fill Santa’s sleigh with enough presents to make sure no child wakes up without a gift on Christmas morning.

We'd like to thank our customers and staff who have donated money, toys and their time.

But there's still time to donate to this appeal. They'll be working right up until Christmas Eve to sort and buy last minute presents, so if you can please donate here: www.key103.co.uk/mission
