“I’m proud of the things that we’ve already delivered for customers, but there’s more coming up. Shortly we will begin a £32 million refurbishment of our existing train fleet which includes the installation of modern, comfortable seating, free Wi-Fi, an on-board entertainment system and at seat plug-sockets. Excitingly, the first set of our brand new trains are now being built and over the next three years, we will be delivering more than £500 million of investment including 220 new carriages.”
