Practice makes perfect
The Top Gear Live Arena Tour is bringing the ridiculous, the hilarious and the downright stupid antics of everyone’s favourite TV petrol heads to your region. And though we’re sure the boys would disagree, with our direct city services, the easiest way to enjoy the fun is to jump on the train. Just in time for an ‘alternative’ Valentine’s day treat, the show is pitching up at the Liverpool Echo Arena on 13-15 February, the Newcastle Metro Radio Arena on 20-21 February and the Sheffield Motorpoint Arena, later in the year on 5-6 June. You can expect the whole team including Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May and the elusive Stig to be in attendance, as well as some of the world’s most expensive, most powerful and most absurdly modified cars.
It’s an arena tour, and a few bangs and pyrotechnics will also be on the cards, so you might want to bring earplugs – it is a motoring spectacular after all. You’ll be allowed to take pictures (for personal use) and it should be noted that children under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult. It’s sure to be quite a show, with incredible stunts and cars that are as far from road legal as you could imagine. “We’ve turned your favourite motoring television show into the most spectacular motoring theatre show in the universe”, says Jeremy Clarkson. It sounds fantastic. topgearlive.co.uk
