Buckshaw Parkway, located in the village of Euxton, is a relatively new station that opened in late 2011.
Once the site of one of the biggest munitions filling factories in the world (if fact, it's believed that the famous bouncing bombs used in the Dambusters raid were made there), today Euxton is a popular, primarily residential area that is one of the largest urban development sites in the North West.
Taking the train to Buckshaw Parkway will place you just a few miles from both Leyland and Chorley. It's also ideally located to provide access to both the M6 and M61 motorways - so continuing your journey couldn't be easier!
From Friday 1st April 2016, services to this station will be operated by Northern.
