Barnby Dun’s 14th century church St Peter and St Pauls is worth a visit if you’re in the area. It was also once home to Thorpe Marsh Power Station (in fact, the disused cooling towers stood until 2012) – there’s now a lot of local debate around what will be built on the former site.
