Changes to our services during the Easter period

Alterations to services

Thursday 13 to Tuesday 19 April 2017

Easter is traditionally a popular time of year for us all to get out and about, with many people taking the opportunity to visit friends and relatives or have a short break.

Usually this 'great escape' coincides with major programmes of maintenance and upgrade work on the rail network and this year some routes which TransPennine Express operate over will be affected.

A summary of the alterations to TransPennine Express services (by route) is provided below.

For greater detail visit our changes to train times page.

Other train operators on these routes will also be affected – for details of amendments to their services visit nationalrail.co.uk

Throughout the Easter period we recommend that all customers check their journey details carefully before travelling, taking special notice in case parts of your journey are operated by replacement coaches.

Also, keep up to date on the day by signing up for our Live Travel updates which provide up-to-the-minute service information.
