Train operating company First TransPennine Express (FTPE) is to hold a 'Meet the Manager' session at Hull Railway Station.
The event, which will be held on Friday 1st April, will give local passengers the chance to offer any feedback regarding their train service.
Customers and interested parties are invited to come along and meet new Station Manager, David Hatfield, who has joined FTPE from the Royal Navy.
David will champion FTPE's customers service at Hull and brings a raft of experience to his new role having previously worked for six years as an overseas diplomat in British Embassies.
A number of senior representatives from FTPE will be on hand to answer any questions between 08:30 and 10:00hrs. Customers will be able to discuss all elements of the train service they receive from FTPE, including station facilities, punctuality and reliability of services and the overall experience whilst on board an FTPE train.
David Hatfield, FTPE Station Manager for Humberside, said "This is a great opportunity for our customers to come in and let us know how we're doing. It is also my first opportunity to meet many of our regular travellers and get their feedback.
"I am new to the business but can clearly see that it is committed to improving the services available for passengers and think they will appreciate the chance to meet and discuss their experiences while travelling with FTPE."
In recent years, Hull Paragon Station has benefited from major refurbishment, costing over half a million pounds and is now an award winning public transport interchange.
Improvements include a brand new travel centre, which is accessible for all, automatic doors, improved customer facilities and waiting areas and upgraded CCTV technology.
Hull is accredited to the Department for Transport's Secure Station Scheme and currently employs 65 members of staff, including customer service assistants, train drivers and conductors.
