Chorley is a market town in Lancashire and is home of the Chorley Cake; a flattened, fruit-filled pastry cake similar to that of the Eccles Cake. Chorley is situated in the middle of a number of neighbouring towns such as Bolton, Blackburn, Preston and Wigan. It is also only a short train journey from Manchester.
Chorley is home to a number of attractions which bring tourists to the area. If you are arriving on one of our trains to Chorley with children or are looking for some entertainment we recommend visiting Chorley Little Theatre. With shows, comedy and music featuring throughout the year you can guarantee yourself a fun filled evening.
If you are looking to shop during your visit to Chorley then we recommend visiting Botany Bay where you can enjoy 5 floors of shopping and eating. Chorley also has a semi professional football team, Chorley FC. They play their home games at Victory Stadium located on Duke Street which is only a short walk away from the train station.
Looking for somewhere to get some shut eye? We recommend Inglewood Boutique Hotel situated less than a mile from the train station and in an ideal location to see all Chorley has to offer.
From Friday 1st April 2016, services to this station will be operated by Northern.Buy tickets
