Durham Cathedral
One of the top churches in England; visually stunning on the
outside and absolutely spectacular on the inside. As of 1989,
Durham Cathedral is a UNESCO world heritage site too!
Durham Castle
Founded in 1072 by William the Conqueror shortly after his
Battle of Hastings victory. This is both a UNESCO site of world
wide historical importance and a beautifully preserved castle.
Boating
Whether it be in on a guided cruise or by hired rowing boat, the
River Wear is an amazing way to see the sights that Durham has to
offer.

The romantic medieval hall and its gardens are a haven of
