  First TransPennine Express and Northern services will not call at Stalybridge on Sundays during this period.

  Customers wishing to travel to Stalybridge from stations to the east of Huddersfield:-

  A replacement bus service will operate from Huddersfield to Stalybridge, departing from stand S1 outside the entrance to Huddersfield station.

  Customers wishing to travel to Stalybridge from Manchester (& stations west of):-

  Until 1600 services between Liverpool / Manchester and Leeds / York will operate to a revised timetable.

  Services will be diverted - the majority of EASTBOUND services will not call at Huddersfield. Those services which do not call at Huddersfield will call additionally at Brighouse. A replacement bus will operate from Brighouse to Huddersfield.

  All services will be diverted between Huddersfield / Brighouse & Leeds and will not call at Dewsbury, adding up to 20 minutes to journey times.

  Replacement buses will operate between Brighouse and Leeds via Dewsbury, also Huddersfield and Leeds via Dewsbury.

  The 0917 Barrow-in-Furness to Manchester Airport service will start from Preston. A replacement bus will operate from Barrow (dep 0809), Ulverston (0827), Grange (0857), Carnforth (0932) and Lancaster (0957) to connect.

  An additional bus will operate from Barrow (dep 0917) to Lancaster calling at all intermediate stations.

  The 1028 Lancaster to Barrow-in-Furness service will be replaced by a bus.

  The 1007 Preston to Windermere service will not run.

  A replacement bus will operate from Oxenholme (dep 1040) to Windermere via Kendal (1050).

  An additional rail service will operate from Preston (dep 1122) & Lancaster (1138) to Oxenholme to connect with a replacement bus (dep 1204) to Windermere via Kendal (1214).

  The 1135 Oxenholme to Windermere service will be replaced by the 1204 bus departure from Oxenholme detailed above.

  The 1101 & 1159 Windermere to Oxenholme service will be replaced by a bus.

  Monday to Thursday

  The 2155 Newcastle to Manchester Airport service will be diverted and will not call at Dewsbury. This service will be retimed to depart Huddersfield later at 0011.

  A replacement bus will operate from Leeds to Dewsbury and will continue as required to Huddersfield, Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport.

  The 2318 Manchester Airport to York service will be diverted and will not call at Dewsbury.

  The 0138 York to Manchester Airport service will be retimed to depart Huddersfield 14 mins later than advertised.

  The 0252 York to Manchester Airport service will be retimed to depart Huddersfield 15 mins later than advertsied.

  The 0038 Manchester Airport to York service will depart Manchester Piccadilly 09 minutes later than advertised.

  From 1140 on Saturday until 1040 on Monday a revised timetable will be in operation affecting services between Manchester Airport and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.

  Saturday

  Northbound services will terminate at Lancaster. Replacement buses will run from Lancaster to Carlisle via Oxenholme & Penrith. Rail services will operate from Carlisle to Glasgow Central / Edinburgh at previously advertised times.

  Southbound services from Glasgow Central / Edinburgh will terminate at Carlisle. Replacement buses will run from Carlisle to Lancaster (to connect with onward services to Manchester) and from Carlisle to Lancaster via Penrith and Oxenholme.

  Sunday

  Until 1500 northbound services will terminate at Preston. Replacement buses will run from Preston to Lockerbie (via Carlisle) to connect with rail services to Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.

  Additional replacement buses will run from Preston to Carlisle via Lancaster, Oxenholme & Penrith.

  From 1500 northbound services will terminate at Lancaster. Replacement buses will run from Lancaster to Carlisle (via Oxenholme & Penrith) to connect with rail services to Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.

  Until 1530 southbound services from Glasgow Central / Edinburgh will terminate at Lockerbie. Replacement buses will run from Lockerbie to Preston via Carlisle & Lancaster (to connect with onward services to Manchester). Additional buses will run from Carlisle to Lancaster via Penrith and Oxenholme.

  From 1530 southbound services from Glasgow Central / Edinburgh will terminate at Carlisle. Replacement buses will run from Carlisle to Lancaster (to connect with onward services to Manchester). Additional buses will run from Carlisle to Lancaster via Penrith and Oxenholme.

  Monday

  The 0545 Manchester Airport to Edinburgh service will terminate at Lancaster. A replacement bus will run from Lancaster to Carlisle to connect with an 0838 departure to Glasgow Central. An additional bus will run from Lancaster to Carlisle (via Oxenholme & Penrith) to connect with a 0936 departure to Edinburgh via Lockerbie.

  An additional rail service will run from Carlisle (dep 0756 to Edinburgh via Lockerbie).

  The 0618 Manchester Airport to Glasgow Central service will terminate at Lancaster. A replacement bus will run from Lancaster to Carlisle via Oxenholme and Penrith.

  The 0725 Manchester Airport to Edinburgh service will terminate at Lancaster. A replacement bus will run from Lancaster to Carlisle (via Oxenholme & Penrith) to connect with an 1130 departure to Glasgow Central via Lockerbie.

  The 0900 Manchester Airport to Glasgow Central / Barrow-in-Furness service will terminate at Lancaster. A replacement bus will run from Lancaster to Oxenholme.

  The 0536 Edinburgh to Manchester Airport service will terminate at Carlisle. A replacement bus will run from Carlisle via Penrith (0755) & Oxenholme (0850) to Lancaster to connect with an 0948 departure to Manchester Airport.

  The 0710 Glasgow Central to Manchester Airport service will terminate at Carlisle. A replacement bus will run from Carlisle to Lancaster. An additional bus will run from Carlisle to Lancaster via Penrith (0914) & Oxenholme (1005).  

  The 0742 Edinburgh to Manchester Airport service will terminate at Carlisle. A replacement bus will run from Carlisle to Lancaster to connect with an 1026 departure to Manchester Airport.

  All other services on this route will operate as previously advertised.

  PLEASE NOTE: Virgin Trains services on this route are also affected by these works and will be operating a limited rail service between Oxenholme and Carlisle (& Scotland) offering faster journey opportunities than using the replacemnt bus services.   From 1140 Saturday until 1040 Monday a revised timetable will be in operation affecting services between Manchester Airport / Preston and Windermere.

  Saturday

  Services between Oxenholme and Windermere will be operated by trains to the normal timetable, however, services on the mainline are affected by engineering work.
  
  Rail services will operate between Manchester and Lancaster only.
  
  Replacement bus services will run from Lancaster to Oxenholme to connect with Windermere branch-line trains. Some late evening southbound buses from Oxenholme will be extended through to Preston. 

  Sunday

  Services between Oxenholme and Windermere will be operated by trains to the normal timetable, however, services on the mainline are affected by engineering work.

  Until 1500 Rail services will operate between Manchester and Preston only. Replacement bus services will run from Preston to Oxenholme (via Lancaster) to connect with Windermere branchline trains.

  From 1500 Rail services will operate between Manchester and Lancaster only. Replacement bus services will run from Lancaster to Oxenholme to connect with Windermere branchline trains.

  Monday

  Services between Oxenholme and Windermere will run as advertised. Until 1040, services on the mainline between Oxenholme and Lancaster will be replaced by buses.

  From 1140 on Saturday until 1040 on Monday a revised timetable will be in operation affecting services between Manchester Airport and Barrow-in-Furness.

  Saturday

  Rail services will operate between Carnforth and Barrow-in-Furness only. Until 2000 replacement buses will operate between Lancaster and Carnforth. From 2000 replacement buses will operate between Preston and Carnforth.

  Sunday

  Rail services will operate between Carnforth and Barrow-in-Furness only to a revised timetable. Replacement buses will operate between Preston / Lancaster and Carnforth.

  Monday

  The 0720 Preston to Barrow-in-Furness service will start from Carnforth at 0742. A replacement bus will run from Lancaster at 0707 to connect.

  An additional rail service will run from Preston dep 0920 to Lancaster (arr 0934).

  The 1008 Preston to Barrow-in-Furness service will start from Carnforth at 1029. A replacement bus will run from Lancaster at 0954 to connect.

  The 0435 Barrow-in-Furness to Lancaster service will be retimed to run 20 minutes later than advertised and will terminate at Carnforth. A replacement bus will run from Carnforth to Lancaster.

  The 0531 Barrow-in-Furness to Manchester Airport service will operate between Preston and Manchester Airport only.

  The 0729 Barrow-in-Furness to Manchester Airport service will operate between Lancaster and Manchester Airport only.

  The 0620 & 0923 Barrow-in-Furness to Manchester Airport services will terminate at Carnforth. Replacement buses will run from Carnforth to Lancaster.

  The 1325 Barrow-in-Furness to Preston service will terminate at Lancaster at 1418. A connecting service to Preston and Manchester departs Lancaster at 1426.

  The 1300 Manchester Airport to Barrow-in-Furness service will start from Lancaster at 1425. Customers wishing to connect with this service should travel on the 1300 Manchester Airport to Glasgow Central service and change at Lancaster.

  The 0822 Liverpool Lime St to Middlesbrough service will start from Manchester Victoria. A replacement bus will run from Liverpool Lime St (dep 0735) and Newton-le-Willows (0810) to Manchester Victoria to connect.

  From 0922 until 1522 services from Liverpool Lime St will call additionally at Huyton.

  From 1522 services from Liverpool Lime St will be retimed to depart Liverpool Lime St 5 minutes EARLIER than advertised and will call additionally at Huyton. (all other departure times are unaffected).

  All services to Liverpool Lime St will call additionally at Huyton.

  From 1600 services to Liverpool Lime St will be retimed to arrive at Liverpool Lime St up to 15 minutes later than advertised.

  LATE ALTERATION

  The 1845 Middlesbrough to Liverpool Lime St & 1951 Scarborough to Liverpool Lime St services will terminate at Manchester Victoria.

  Replacement buses will operate from Manchester Victoria to Liverpool Lime St calling at Newton-le-Willows and Huyton.

  Monday to Thursday

  The 2318 Manchester Airport to York service will not call at Huddersfield and will be retimed to depart Dewsbury at 0040.

  A replacement bus will operate from Huddersfield (dep 0005 tue-fri) to Dewsbury to connect with the train which will then return to Huddersfield (dep Dewsbury 0050).

  An additional replacement bus will operate from Huddersfield (dep 0026 tue-fri) to Dewsbury and continue as required to Leeds.

  Tuesday to Friday

  The 0138 & 0252 York to Manchester Airport services will not call at Huddersfield but will call additionally at Brighouse.

  Replacement buses will operate from Huddersfield (dep 0220 & 0330) to Brighouse to connect with the train which will then return from Brighouse to Huddersfield connecting off the train.

  The 0120 Manchester Airport to Huddersfield BUS service will be extended to Leeds 0330 and arrive at York at 0420.

  The 0420, 0500, 0645 & 0810 York to Manchester Airport services will start from Huddersfield. Replacement buses will run from York to Huddersfield via Leeds and Dewsbury.

  The 0550 Manchester Victoria to York service will terminate at Huddersfield. A replacement bus will run from Huddersfield to York via Leeds.

  The 0611 Manchester Airport to Middlesbrough service will start from York.

  An additional rail service will run from Manchester Airport departing at 0611 to Huddersfield via Manchester Piccadilly. A replacement bus will run from Huddersfield to York via Dewsbury and Leeds.

  The 2318 Manchester Airport to York service will be diverted and will not call at Dewsbury. Customers for Dewsbury should change at Huddersfield for a replacement bus which will depart at 0037 from the station forecourt - bus stand S1.

  The 2155 Newcastle to Manchester Airport service will be diverted and will not call at Dewsbury. Customers for Dewsbury should change at Leeds for a replacement bus which will depart from outside the main station entrannce at 2345. This bus will pick up at Dewsbury at 0010 and continue to Huddersfield and as required to Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport.

  Monday to Thursday

  The 2318 Manchester Airport to York service will not call at Huddersfield but will call additionally at Brighouse and will be retimed to depart Dewsbury at 0043.
