Why take the train to Bare Lane?
Bare Lane station serves the village of Bare, which is a suburb of Morecambe. The pretty main building may now be private residence (in fact, it was auctioned off to its owners on the BBC programme Homes Under The Hammer), but TransPennine Express trains still call at the station every day.
Take a train to Bare Lane and it’s just a short walk to the seafront. Plus the popular seaside resort of Morecambe, with all its great family-friendly attractions, is only one station stop away.
Every June, the village hosts Bare Fest, a festival that celebrates the local community – so why not head along and join in the fun?
From 1st April 2016, services to this station will be operated by Northern.Buy tickets
