Presented by Make It York in collaboration with St. Leonard's Hospice, the trail invites you to explore York's historic streets and hidden gardens in a unique way.

Encounter 23 Snooks spread across the city, tucked away in medieval streets, charming corners, and iconic squares. Sponsored by local businesses, these one-of-a-kind sculptures come to life with bespoke designs crafted by talented artists, drawing inspiration from literature and York's rich history.

York is easy to get to by train, with regular services across the TransPennine Express network. You’ll arrive at the picturesque Victorian-built station, just a stone's throw from the trail's starting point. With a variety of independent cafes, restaurants, and shops to choose from as you wander, following The Snooks Trail is a great way to explore the city.
