If you're commuting once a week, our advance purchase tickets will be your best option. Booking in advance can give you up to 50% off!
For those splitting time between home and the office, a flexi season ticket is often the most cost-effective choice. It gives you eight days of travel in 28 days between two chosen stations and they're usually at least 20% cheaper than a standard monthly season ticket.
If you're travelling most weekdays, a season ticket is the simplest way to save and with weekly, monthly, annual and even custom season tickets between two station, it's easier than ever to choose one that works for you.

You can purchase any of these tickets easily on our website or on our app. Alternatively, if you need a hand with purchasing tickets, you can head to the station and use either the machine or speak to the ticket office who will be happy to help!

You can buy a Season ticket or Flexi Season online or on the TPExpress App. You'll need to register for a Smartcard first if you don't have one already, as you'll be loading your shiny new ticket to your Smartcard.
You can also buy or renew Season tickets at any manned ticket office. Flexi Season tickets are online only.
If you're buying a daily ticket, you can buy them online, on the TPExpress App or at stations with ticket offices or ticket machines.
There's a few ways to save money on your train commute, depending on how often you travel to work by train.
If you're taking the train 2 or more days every week, your best way to save money is by getting a Flexi Season or a Season ticket.
If your train travel is a bit more irregular, you can save by travelling at Off Peak times or by using a Railcard. Check out our Cheap Tickets Guide for more tips.
If you're a hybrid worker and you only travel to work 2 or 3 days a week, your best option is the Flexi Season ticket.
If you work in shifts and your train travel needs changes week by week, we'd recommend either a weekly Season ticket or daily tickets, depending on how often you'd need to travel per week.
