Group Train Travel

Eligible for groups of 3 to 9 people only

Customers booked on Group discount tickets must travel together on the same service

Advance tickets are available on the majority of longer distance TransPennine Express journeys

Tickets are one-way

Seat reservations are not provided for Advance tickets bought on the day of departure 

The majority of advance tickets must be purchased before 18:00 on the day prior to travel, however a limited number of tickets are available on some routes up to 15 minutes before departure (a list of applicable routes is available here)

Due to the limited availability and popularity of these tickets, please book early to avoid disappointment

Advance tickets are valid only for the train service for which they are booked

Changes to the date and time can be made before departure, but are subject to an administration fee

Advance tickets are non-refundable

If you buy your tickets with a Railcard, don't forget to take it with you when you travel, as your ticket won't be valid without it
