48 hours in Manchester.
Our friends over at Culture Trip spent 48 hours in Manchester and put together this fantastic video showcasing lots of great places to visit.

Starting by arriving at Manchester Victoria by train, TransPennine Express have direct connections into Manchester from cities across the north of England and Scotland including Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, York, Hull, Newcastle, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.

First stop was the amazing QBIC Hotel located in the heart of the action on Manchester’s Deansgate. Once settled in the next stop was The Refuge Dining Room and Public Bar located in the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel. A menu of small plates was enjoyed before heading off to Homeground a brand-new outdoor venue of theatre, music and comedy brought to you by Home.

Day 2 included a trip to the People’s History Museum the national museum of democracy, followed by a food walking tour with Scranchester around the Northern Quarter district of the city.

Evening entertainment kicked off in Escape to Freight Island which includes a food market with some of the UK’s finest restaurants and chefs, bars serving a collection of wines, beers, spirits and cocktails and a mix of entertainment of live music and top DJs. The trip was topped off at The Blues Kitchen where you can enjoy live music and New Orleans soul food.
