Manchester Pride Festival

Friday 15th July 2022

Manchester Pride is one of the UK's leading LGBTQ+ charities. Its vision is a world where LGBTQ+ people are free to live and love without prejudice.

This year, the Manchester Pride Festival is focused on celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. Whether its taking the little ones to Family Pride MCR, or taking a quiet moment to reflect at the Candelit Vigil, all activities will use the diverse range of spaces available in and around Manchester’s Gay Village, right in the centre of the city. The jam packed programme has both ticketed and free-of- charge events across all four days and aims to ensure a fantastic weekend for everyone!

The Gay Village Party is opening on Friday 26th August with a trans led and curated event, Trans Filth & Joy, and will continue throughout the weekend with its most diverse programme yet including takeovers from Black Pride MCR, Fat Pride and Queer Women’s Takeover. There are some familiar names in the stellar line-up at the Alan Turing Stage in Sackville Gardens, including Nadine Coyle, Bimini, Melanie C, Charity Shop Sue and many more!

The Parade - this year themed ‘March for Peace’ - is finally making its return in full force on Saturday 27th August after being restricted for COVID-19, it will be be a show-stopping, feel good procession that will wow crowds across Manchester and send the world a big, bright, colourful message that everyone deserves to live and love with peace!
