Whilst there is no train station in the town, the closest train station to Richmond is Darlington, 12 miles away. You can catch a bus from Darlington to the centre of Richmond.
Ripon is a cathedral city in North Yorkshire. A trip to Ripon is a real cultural treat, whether you’re visiting for a weekend or a little longer. The city has three award winning museums, a Gothic cathedral, racecourse and more. The nearest train station to Ripon is either Harrogate (11 miles), Thirsk (11 miles) or York (27 miles).
