How do I redeem the £25 eVoucher?

To redeem the £25 eVoucher off TransPennine Express Advance fares, click on the ‘Book Tickets’ link in the email you received. Proceed through the ticket purchase process and on the Payment Details page, enter your unique 25 digit code into the eVoucher section and click ‘Add’ prior to making payment. Tick the box shown to apply the eVoucher.

I can’t click the eVoucher check box on the Payment Details screen. Why is this happening?

This will happen if you have selected a ticket that the eVoucher cannot be used against. You can only use the £25 eVoucher towards a TransPennine Express Advance purchase fare. If the box cannot be ticked, the purchase is not a valid ticket so please go back to the ticket selector and try again. What happens if my ticket is less or more than £25?

The £25 eVoucher is a one-time usage amount only. If your Advance Purchase ticket is less than £25, any remaining balance will be lost and cannot be carried over towards a future transaction. If your Advance Purchase ticket totals more than £25, the £25 value of the eVoucher will be deducted and you’ll have to pay the difference.

When can I redeem the £25 eVoucher?

The £25 eVoucher must be redeemed by 23:59pm on 11 September 2019. The £25 eVoucher is only valid for TransPennine Express Advance journeys up to 18 October 2019. Tickets must be booked at least one day in advance of travel. Some travel dates and routes may be excluded due to engineering works or where services are expected to be busier than usual. Can I change my tickets after using the £25 eVoucher?

As with any Advance purchase ticket, changes to the date and time can be made before departure via My Account without incurring an administration fee but you will have to pay any difference between the old and new fare. If your new ticket price is lower than your original booking, you will not be refunded the difference since the £25 eVoucher has been applied as payment towards your booking.

What journeys can I book and where can I travel to?


The £25 eVoucher can only be used against TransPennine Express Advance fares on the TransPennine Express network. You cannot use it against tickets for other train operators, any other ticket types, or where our trains do not travel. E.g. The eVoucher cannot be used for Northern or Arriva train services, Off Peak or Anytime tickets or for a journey from Manchester to London. Can I use my Railcard with this offer?

Railcard discounts can be used alongside the £25 eVoucher; just make sure that you have it with you when travelling and that it has a valid date.
