Transform Grants

Funding for local community projects

Apply for up to £5,000 for local projects

Our Transform Grants are back for 2019, with up to £50,000 up for grabs to support community projects that seek to tackle youth unemployment, promote social inclusion and improve the environment.

Applicants can apply for funding of up to £5,000 to help deliver their projects tackling one or more of these themes, with bonus points for proximity to our train services.

Applications open on 8th August 2019, and are set to close on the 27th September 2019, so you need to be quick to take advantage of this opportunity to make a difference in your area.

Submissions go through an initial review, with the best applications from each area progressing to a public vote. In a change from previous years, those applicants who make it to voting stage will be required to produce a 30 second pitch video, selling the benefits of their project.

Last year we received over 170 applications, asking for more than £350,000, so competition is fierce. It’s best to get your applications in early. If you’ve got an idea and are located in one of the the great towns or cities in the North of England or Scotland? Then we want to hear from you!
