About Brough
Brough is a town in the East Riding of Yorkshire, around 12 miles west of Hull. It is famous for its association with Dick Turpin. The legendary highwayman stayed at the Ferry Inn before being captured in 1737 – the pub is still open today.
The town is located on the banks of the Humber Estuary and is close enough to Hull to enjoy the city’s attractions, including The Deep, Hull Minster and the Maritime Museum. Direct trains to Hull take just 10 minutes.
