The Age of Starlight sounds so thrilling we just had to let you know. Bringing together Professor Brian Cox, design legend Peter Saville and the visual effects team responsible for the blockbuster movie Gravity, The Age of Starlight is a film experience that invites the audience to face the biggest questions about our existence, our place within the universe, and the origin of our universe itself. It’s directed by Oscar-winner Kevin MacDonald (The Last King of Scotland) and the computer-generated effects are said to be out of this world in every sense. And the best thing about it? The world’s first opportunity to see this major work is during the Manchester International Festival which runs from 2-19 July. A little way off, to be sure, but it’s so exciting we wanted to give you the chance to book now. Head to mif.co.uk for tickets.
