This is a massive park that I still go to all the time. It's really family orientated and always busy, with a lake you can go boating on, a big playground, trampolines, a big sports arena and a great café. There are also beautiful flower gardens to wander through - it's a lovely side of the town and shows that Blackpool isn't all about kiss-me-quick hats and candyfloss.
I don't go out clubbing too often nowadays, but Sanuk is a great night out if you want to have a good dance. It has loads of different floors, with different music, so there's something for everyone - whether you're into chart music, R'n'B or house.
There are loads of great bars and pubs to choose from, but it's hard to beat Funny Girls. It's a Blackpool institution: cabaret drag shows with fabulous costumes and a true northern sense of humour, where everybody's welcome.
The Grand Theatre
I have really fond memories of the Winter Gardens, because as The Nolans we spent a lot of summer seasons performing at the Opera House. However, my favourite theatre has to be The Grand - it's beautiful and has an amazing history. It's a real 'chocolate box' theatre.
Hounds Hill Shopping Centre
When I was growing up, there weren't that many shops in Blackpool, but now there's real choice thanks to the Hounds Hill Shopping Centre. It's right in the centre of town, and has all of the major high street stores, so it's perfect if you're after some retail therapy.
