Whether you're grabbing a quick bite to eat or just fancy a drink to enjoy, our Express Cafe service brings tasty meal deals and drinks right to your seat, so you can stay seated and keep enjoying the journey! 

What's available onboard?

We've now got Costa Coffee available on board our trains so whether you want an Americano or fancy a Salted Caramel Latter or even a Frappe - we'll bring your favourite Costa Coffee drink right to your seat. 

We've also got a selection of meal deals for you to enjoy. Just some of the meal deals we have include:  

• A Costa Coffee drink and fruit cake or muffin - £5.50 
• Any hot favourite drink (excludes Costa Coffee) and fruit cake or muffin - £5.20
• Any two beers or ciders - £9.00
• Any two Aperol Spritz or prosecco - £12.00 

Our meal deals are a great way of grabbing food on the go or enjoying a cup of tea (Yorkshire Tea, of course!) and a snack.
 
And, if you're celebrating jetting off on holiday whilst on the train to Manchester Airport, or toasting the start of the weekend, how about an Aperol Spritz to go? We've also got a selection of Laylo Wines and an array of soft drinks made famous by the North and Scotland, including fizzy Vimto and Irn Bru!

Important information

Our catering service typically runs Monday-Friday: 07:00-18:30 and Saturday-Sunday 09:00-18:30. 

We do aim to deliver every advertised item but, occasionally, operational factors may affect availability. All our pre-packaged items display allergen information on the wrappers and/or cans. Hot dishes are covered by our allergen matrix, with full ingredient breakdowns. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are also available. 

Do you have a severe allergy? Please contact us in advance via social media, WhatsApp or our Customer Contact Centre and we'll do everything we can to make your journey as comfortable as possible.
