Whether you're grabbing a quick bite to eat or just fancy a drink to enjoy, our Express Cafe service brings tasty meal deals and drinks right to your seat, so you can stay seated and keep enjoying the journey! 

What's available onboard?

Meal Deals made for you! Onboard food and drinks made easy, delicious and value-packed with our range of selected meal deal options. 

Just some of our meal deals available on board include: 

• Hot drink and a flapjack, fruit cake or muffin - £5
• Soft drink with Pipers crisps and KitKat or Twix - £4.45
• Any two beers and a savoury snack - £9.50

Our meal deals are a great way of grabbing food on the go or enjoying a cup of tea (Yorkshire Tea, of course!) and a local flapjack. 
And, if you're celebrating jetting off on holiday whilst on the train to Manchester Airport, or toasting the start of the weekend, how about a G&T with Seaside Edinburgh Gin or, indulge in our seasonal special, Edinburghy Festive Gin!  Enjoy a cheeky Canned Wine Co. wine or a Madri and pair them with our festive offerings - Burt's Pigs in Blankets Crisps or Milk Chocolate Coins!

Important information

Our catering service typically runs Monday-Friday: 07:00-18:30 and Saturday-Sunday 09:00-18:30. 

We do aim to deliver every advertised item but, occasionally, operational factors may affect availability. All our pre-packaged items display allergen information on the wrappers and/or cans. Hot dishes are covered by our allergen matrix, with full ingredient breakdowns. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are also available. 

Do you have a severe allergy? Please contact us in advance via social media, WhatsApp or our Customer Contact Centre and we'll do everything we can to make your journey as comfortable as possible.
