What's on the menu?

Expect a mixture of hearty meals and lighter bites, all designed to make your journey with us that bit more indulgent and enjoyable. Highlights from the TransPennine Kitchen - West Coast Festive menu include: 

• Breakfast favourite from buttered crumpets and porridge with apple and cinnamon toppings to festive specials including a Pigs in Blankets Brioche or our Festive Belgian Waffle with apple and cranberry compote, ideal for starting your day right.
• Seasonal hot dishes such as Turkey Meatballs served with garlic mashed potato, sprouts and cranberry gravy or our Holiday Nutless Roast, ideal for celebrating the season whatever you choose!  
• Delicious lighter bites like our Duo of Festive Mini Pies, made by Pie Demand in Carlisle or indulge in our Festive West Coast Cheeseboard.
• Sweet treats and desserts including cakes and biscuits made by bakers along our route.

Alongside all of these you'll also find freshly brewed tea and coffee, a range of soft drinks and juices as well as a range of alcoholic options after 11am, including our exclusive Wyresdale Whistle Pale Ale, brewed by Lancaster Brewery specially for TransPennine Express.
